WHAT'S THE CONCEPT

Welcome to Archived Expression!

I decided to create this platform for my capstone project after years of wanting to make an art magazine. I was inspired by many other great art and culture magazines, and wanted to make something similar here in Rochester. I remember as a kid reading them and then seeing ads for art exhibits and events in other places like Los Angeles that I would never be able to attend or see. This inspired me to try and make something local that could bring more attention to the art scene in Rochester.

At the core I want this to become a hub for Rochester's rich art scene. I want to make it more accessible to everyone, expand the reach of Rochester-based artists, and promote and grow the wonderful art community we have here. The end goal is to have a digital and print publication that people can read, enjoy, and connect with.

So far this is a solo project, but in the future I would love to collaborate with other people to grow the project and its scope. Thank you to everyone that's supported me along the way.
